Bulls and Cutties is run by Tac. Using the site means accepting what is on this page. If you do not accept it, do not use the site.
What this is
A community for fly anglers, organized by water. Members write reports about days they have fished, ask and answer questions, and add what they know about a river. The site also prints conditions and regulations read from public services.
Your account
You need an email address you control. During the pilot accounts are given by invitation. One account per person. Do not share it, and tell us if you think somebody else has reached it. You must be old enough to hold an account here, which you were asked to confirm when you joined.
What you post
What you write stays yours. By posting it here you give Tac permission to show it on this site and in the emails the site sends, for as long as it is posted. You keep the right to correct it or take it down, and taking it down removes it from view.
Post only what you have the right to post. Reports, replies and photographs are public to anybody with the address, including people who are not members and search engines. Treat everything you write here as something the open web can read.
The community guidelines say what is welcome here and are part of these terms.
What we can do
We can remove a contribution, close a discussion, or suspend or end an account, when something breaks the guidelines or the law, or to protect a water or a person. We will say what was removed on the member’s own history, and you can appeal by writing to us.
We can change these terms. A change that matters will be shown to you before you next post, and the date below says when this version was written.
What the site does not promise
Conditions, flows, weather, fire orders and regulations are read from public services and printed with the time they were read. They can be wrong, stale or missing, and the official source governs. Nothing here is permission to fish, to enter land, or to go on the water.
Reports are what members observed, not advice and not a guarantee that anything will work. Access sites, river distances and wading words are drawn from mapped data and members’ reckoning. Judging whether a river is safe on a given day is yours alone.
The site is provided as it is. We do not promise it will be available, complete or free of mistakes.
Money
The site is free to use and events on it are free. There is no way to charge for a place, so nobody can be asked to pay for one.
Your information, and ending your account
The privacy page says what is collected and how long it is kept. You can ask for a copy of your information or for your account to be deleted, and during the pilot that is handled by hand. Ending your account does not oblige us to remove what you posted where a discussion depends on it, and we will tell you what can be removed before we act.
Law
These terms are governed by the law of Alberta, Canada.
