Every carefully recorded day helps build a better picture of a river. Start with water temperature, clarity and what you noticed along a named reach.

Add your readings through a water report. Record only what you observed, leave unknown readings blank, and use the notes for measurement time, equipment and habitat changes. Keep locations at water or named-reach level.

A place for local fly shops
Local shops could host thermometer demonstrations, help anglers record consistent observations and organize river cleanups. Our fly-shop directory links anglers to nearby businesses and the waters they serve.
No shop has been enrolled as a research partner. Named studies, sampling protocols and scientific review still need an agreed project and coordinator. Existing reports remain member contributions.
